Dornbracht Spout Seal and Escutcheon Kit 90277802300-00

This kit seals and tidies the base of your spout.

It includes the threaded shank, spout seals, and escutcheon for a Dornbracht spout installation in chrome. When these parts wear or loosen, you may notice water seeping around the spout base, movement in the mounted spout, or a visible gap around the trim plate, and 90277802300-00 is the replacement used to put that assembly right.

Fit the correct parts and restore a secure spout base whilst helping prevent leaks behind the surface.

Key Features of the Dornbracht Spout Kit

✓ Complete Mounting Set: Includes the threaded shank, seals, and escutcheon together for one matched spout-base replacement.

✓ Chrome Escutcheon: Provides the visible trim piece in chrome, helping the finished installation stay consistent with the surrounding brassware.

✓ Seal Renewal: Replacing the spout seals can help cure water escaping around the base instead of through the outlet.

✓ 55 x 55 mm Plate: The escutcheon size matters where the trim needs to cover the existing opening cleanly.

Why Replace the Dornbracht Spout Base Parts

1. Base Leaks: If water is appearing around the underside of the spout or on the mounting surface, worn seals at the base are a common cause.
2. Loose Fixing: A damaged or worn threaded shank can leave the spout unstable, especially if it rocks during normal use.
3. Trim Coverage: The 55 x 55 x 9 mm escutcheon helps cover the mounting point neatly, which matters if the old plate is marked, corroded, or missing.
4. Correct Assembly: These components work together at the spout base, so replacing them as a set can be more effective than changing one item alone.

FAQ's

Q: What faults do these parts usually fix?
They are commonly used to resolve leaks around the base of the spout, movement in the mounted spout, or a damaged escutcheon that no longer covers the opening neatly.

Q: Does this include the visible chrome trim?
Yes, this part includes the escutcheon along with the threaded shank and spout seals, so both the sealing and visible trim components are covered.

Q: Do I need to check the dimensions before ordering?
Yes, the escutcheon is listed as 55 x 55 x 9 mm. You should compare that with your existing trim size and installation space before ordering.

Q: Can I replace this myself?
That depends on how accessible the underside of the spout fixing is. If you can reach the mounting point and isolate the water supply, it may be manageable with careful disassembly.
