Frequently Asked Questions
How much is the delivery charge?
The delivery charge for the UK, the Channel Islands, and Northern Ireland is £4.50 for parcels lower than £18.00 inc. VAT and £6.50 for items above £18.00 inc. VAT. Larger items are sometimes subject to extra postage due to the cost of transportation, and this is also the case with certain fragile items, which need extra insurance. Our minimum delivery charge is £4.50.
All orders over £180.00 inc VAT are eligible for free delivery, regardless of the quantity of items ordered. This is not the case when the items are large in size or are fragile. Please note this is only applicable to the UK, the Channel Islands, and Northern Ireland.
All goods are shipped with either Royal Mail, Evri, or TNT.

Do you accept returns? If so, what is your returns policy?
Requests for the return of products because of "ordered in error" or "cancellation" (after shipment has been made) must be made within 30 days of shipment. If the items were ordered in and an email was sent to confirm this action, then the items could be subject to a 20% restocking charge.
When returning rejected goods, the package and goods must be in perfect condition (unused). It is then your responsibility to cover the cost of returning the goods. If the goods were wrongly recommended, we will arrange the collection of said goods.
Please make sure you include your order number or delivery note back with the returned parcel
Upon receipt of returned goods, we will refund you for your order less any postage costs incurred. If the item is outside the 30-day returns period, it is non-refundable. Special orders are subject to restocking charges of a minimum of 20%. Please read our terms and conditions

What are BSP thread sizes?
British Standard Pipe (BSP) thread is a standard thread type used extensively across the globe for plumbing connections (but not in North America). The standard defines the number of threads per inch (pitch) as well as the angle that each thread is engineered to. BSP threads have rounded valleys and troughs with a 55 degree pitch (this is known as Whitworth type).
There are two types of BSP threads; Tapered (BSPT) and parallel (BSPP). The vast majority of BSP threads for water fittings are parallel.
BSP sizes are always in imperial measurements and some have commonly metricised names. The table below summarises BSP sizes to help with general identification. Major diameter is slightly less than the actual outside diameter of the threads. Minor diameter is the measurement of the inside of a female threaded connection, from thread to thread.
