Shower Replacement Parts for Every Major Brand

Across our catalogue, you'll find shower spares for both current ranges, as well as older models typically no longer carried by the high street.

Our supply also covers less common and discontinued brands that are difficult to source elsewhere, including Bathstore, Cooke & Lewis, Arezzo, Moretti, Bossini, Abacus and A&J Gummers. That's why we are we're often the go-to brand for shower plumbing parts in the UK.

If your shower is several years old or came from a builder's merchant that no longer stocks the range, we often have the part you need. Browse the full manufacturer directory to find your brand.

Types of Showers We Supply Replacement Parts For

Mixer Shower Spares

Mixer showers run from your hot and cold supply through a single valve, sometimes with thermostatic control. When a mixer shower starts leaking, losing pressure or running at the wrong temperature, the fix is usually inside the valve. We supply replacement mixer valve cartridges, diverter cartridges, handles, trims and finish kits so you can repair the valve rather than replace the whole shower.

Electric Shower Spares

Electric showers have a wall-mounted unit that heats cold water on the way through. The parts that fail most are heating elements, flow valves, pressure switches and PCBs. We stock these along with control knobs and cover assemblies for Galaxy, MX and other UK electric shower brands.

Thermostatic Shower Spares

Thermostatic valves keep the water temperature steady even when another tap opens elsewhere in the house. If a thermostatic shower has started running cold, sticking on one temperature, or refusing to adjust, the usual cause is the thermostatic cartridge. Browse shower cartridges to find the correct replacement for your valve.

Concealed Shower Valve Spares

Concealed valves are built into the wall, with only the handle and trim plate on show. The good news is most repairs can be done from the front, without touching the tiles. Replacement cartridges, handle extensions and finish kits cover the parts that typically need changing, as long as you know the valve make and model.

Power Shower Spares

Power showers combine a mixer valve with a built-in pump, giving stronger flow on gravity-fed systems where mains pressure alone is not enough. Pump seals, flow valves, cartridges, pressure switches and cover assemblies are the common replacements, covering the UK power shower brands most often installed in homes.

How to Find the Right Shower Fittings Spare Part

Ordering the correct replacement depends on identifying the manufacturer and model of your shower. On most showers the manufacturer name is printed on the front plate or the underside of the handle. The model name or number is usually on a data plate inside the cover, on the back of the handset, or printed on the original packaging or instruction manual if you still have them.

For valve cartridges, the manufacture date often matters as much as the model. Some brands, including Abacus and Aqualisa, have changed their cartridge design across production years, so a cartridge for a 2012 valve will not always fit a 2018 valve of the same name. The date is usually printed inside the valve cover.

Frequently Asked Questions

What actually are shower spares?

Shower spares are replacement parts for the individual components that make up a shower. They include internal parts such as valve cartridges, thermostatic cartridges and diverters, and external parts such as shower heads, hoses, handles, seals, door rollers and cover plates. Ordering a spare part rather than a complete new shower is usually the most practical fix when one component has failed, provided the rest of the shower is in good condition.

What parts make up a shower?

A typical UK shower is made up of a valve that controls hot and cold water, a shower head and hose that deliver the spray, a slide rail or fixed bracket that holds the head, and where an enclosure is fitted, a set of doors, seals, rollers and hinges. Electric showers also include a heating unit. Any one of these parts can be replaced individually. Shower valve spares are the most commonly replaced components.

What are the most common shower problems?

Leaking from the valve, loss of pressure, temperature changing on its own, a blocked or dripping shower head, a hose split or leaking at the connection, and a shower door that will not slide or seal properly. Most of these are cartridge, washer, seal or roller issues rather than whole-shower faults. Replacing the specific failed part restores the shower and avoids the cost and disruption of a full replacement.

How do I identify my shower spare part?

Start with the manufacturer name and shower model, usually printed on the front of the valve, the underside of the handle or a data plate inside the cover. For cartridges, check the manufacture date stamped inside the valve body, as some brands change cartridge design across production years. If the shower is older and the markings have worn, photograph the existing part against a ruler and send it to our team. We'll identify the correct replacement before you order.

Do you supply spares for older or discontinued showers?

Yes. Our catalogue covers discontinued Bathstore ranges, older Aqualisa and Mira models, and legacy brands including A&J Gummers, Abacus and Cooke & Lewis. Stock for older showers is one of the reasons customers come to us rather than a builder's merchant. If you cannot find your model listed on the site, contact the team with the shower brand, model name and an approximate age. Older parts are often available even when the manufacturer no longer lists them.

Do you deliver shower spares across the UK?

Yes. Shower spares are sent daily from our UK warehouse to addresses across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Smaller parts such as cartridges, washers and seals go by standard tracked post, with larger items sent by courier. Trade and repeat customers can collect from the trade counter in Hoddesdon if preferred. Delivery timings and costs are shown at checkout based on the items in your basket and your postcode.
