The difference between a pivot and hinged enclosure is the following: 

A pivot door has fixing top and bottom of the door for the door to open and close.

Hinged enclosures are fixed by points that are on the side of the glass door, example below: 

Bi-fold enclosures fold in the centre for the door to open: 

Sliding enclosures use rollers that allow the door to slide open:
