We supply shower body jet spares for high-spec mixer and rainfall systems. Body jets sit at chest, lumbar or knee height and discharge horizontally onto the bather. They block up with limescale, snap when knocked or lose their finish. Types of Shower Body Jets

Flush-mount jets
Sit flat against the tile, with only the nozzle and a thin escutcheon ring visible. Often part of a multi-jet rainfall panel where the visual cleanliness of a flush installation matters.

Wall-mount jets
Stand proud of the tile by 20 to 40 mm with a round, square or rectangular escutcheon plate. The most common UK pattern, fitted on standalone showers and on systems where the jet positions need adjusting after install.

Recessed jets
Set inside a shallow tile cavity so the nozzle face sits flush or slightly below the tile. Stylish but harder to clean, since limescale builds up in the cavity around the jet.

Adjustable and ball-joint jets
Rotate and angle on a small ball joint, letting the user direct the spray. Common at chest height where bathers want to point the jet rather than accept a fixed angle.
Thread Sizes and Connection Spec
Almost every UK shower body jet uses a 1/2 inch BSP male thread on the back of the nozzle, screwing into a 1/2 inch BSP female elbow built into the wall. Replacement nozzles in this thread are widely available across brands, with the visible escutcheon and finish chosen to match the rest of the system.
A small number of imported and older systems use 3/8 inch BSP, particularly on European-spec rainfall sets. Measure the thread on the back of the existing nozzle (or count threads against a 1/2 inch reference) before ordering. Identifying and Matching Your Jet
Photograph the existing jet from the front, the side and the back if you can unscrew it without disturbing the wall. Note the escutcheon shape (round, square, rectangular), the finish (chrome, brushed nickel, brass) and the thread size. Brand markings sometimes survive on the back of the nozzle, where they have been protected from limescale.

What is a shower body jet?
A shower body jet is a small horizontal water outlet built into the wall of a shower enclosure. Body jets are usually fitted in pairs or sets of three, four or six, at chest, waist or knee height. The jet itself is the visible nozzle on the tile face; behind the wall is a 1/2 inch BSP elbow connection feeding the jet.
Are shower body jets brand-specific?
The visible nozzle and finish kit are usually brand-specific in pattern and colour. The behind-the-wall fitting is more standardised, with most UK installations using 1/2 inch BSP elbows. Replacement of the visible jet alone is straightforward; replacement of the rough-in fitting usually means opening the wall to access the pipework.
Can I replace just the nozzle without changing the wall fitting?
Yes, in most cases. The nozzle screws into the rough-in fitting from the front and unscrews the same way. Match the thread size (almost always 1/2 inch BSP) and the brand or finish if you want a visual match. Replacement nozzles in matching chrome or brushed nickel are usually available even when the original brand has discontinued the line.
